For those participating in the preconference session on Thursday, following verification of your attendance, a CME certificate will be generated and sent to the email address provided by you on the session sign in sheet. This certificate will be sent via email by no later than 10/12/22.
For those participating in the conference on Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday, following verification of your attendance, a CME certificate will be generated and sent to the email address provided by you on the session sign in sheet. This certificate will be sent via email by no later than 10/12/22.
Should you not receive your certificate by 5pm on 10/12/22, please email jhussar@nysvara.org.
NYSVARA is excited to welcome attendees, drill participants, exhibitors, sponsors, and staff to Albany in October 2022 for the PulseCheck Conference. With COVID, Monkey Pox, Polio, and other health concerns in the media each day, several inquiries have been made regarding how NYSVARA is handling these concerns regarding the conference. Our position is as follows:
- NYSVARA encourages all who are not feeling well use common sense. Self-quarantine, stay home, consult your primary physician, etc. Do not expose your fellow provides to your illness at Pulse Check.
- COVID vaccines are widely available at pharmacies, local health departments, clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and other locations across the state. For information about and availability of COVID vaccines you can go to the NYS Department of Health website at: https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov . Information on Monkeypox and the vaccine can be obtained at: https://www.health.ny.gov/diseases/communicable/zoonoses/monkeypox/vaccine.htm . We will not be requiring vaccination proof to attend our event.
- At this time, Masks are not required by NYS, Albany County, or the venue. You may elect to wear one, but we are not requiring it.
- Everything is subject to change. (You should know this by now.) Should NYS, Albany County, or the venue make changes to their policies or requirements, we will notify registered attendees using the email address provided at the time of registration. This notification will be made as soon as possible.
